Those Paul Ryan Workout Photos are REAL?

You know - the ones where he’s wearing a baseball cap backward and pumping weights?  I thought they were photoshops of Ryan’s head onto some 20-year-old’s body, but according to Ryan’s people (quoted in Slate) the photoshoot was last year. Presumably he didn’t know he would be the VP pick at the time…..

Somehow I’m not not finding those photos helping to make him seem, y’know, trustworthy.  Or old enough to be a 7-term congressman.
